Thanks to an outpouring of support, we have successfully saved two new conservation lands: turtle habitat near McGowan Lake, and the final section of the perimeter around Purcells Pond, in the Purcells Cove Backlands!

Only four species of turtle live in Nova Scotia, and three of them are at risk of extinction, due in large part to habitat loss. We’re working to protect land in the province’s most significant turtle habitat, and your support by December 31 can help give turtles the gift of safety.
