Joey Yazer considers himself a “lifetime lover of nature” - and recently decided to show his love by becoming a monthly donor to our campaign to protect Twice the Wild! “The peace that so many people feel when they’re out in the woods; that’s something you can’t get anywhere else,” says Joey. “For a lot of us who feel love for the outdoors, that feeling instinctively comes with a sense of stewardship - ‘I want to take care of this.’”
Zack Metcalfe: A Conservation Journalist with the Maritimes at Heart

As a conservation-focused journalist, Zack Metcalfe has worked with environmental charities all across the Maritimes. The Nature Trust helped introduce him first-hand to truly wild natural places, and his vehement support of locally-led land conservation has grown from there. Although he currently lives on Prince Edward Island, it was an easy decision to become a monthly donor to our Twice the Wild campaign.
