This 100 acre property on Springhaven Duck Lake in Yarmouth County extends from Hog Lake to the shores of Springhaven Duck Lake, where it includes a relatively large complex of open wetland. The land also hosts upland forests in varying stages of maturity.

Springhaven Duck Lake in Yarmouth County is recognized as a priority location for Atlantic Coastal Plain Flora (ACPF). The protected property supports habitat and species occurrences for this unique group of plants, including Water Pennywort and other rare species, as well as reptiles and birds of conservation concern. Immediately adjacent to other Nature Trust conservation lands, it is an important addition to the Tusket River and Lakes focus area.
