The LaHave Islands have been inhabited and explored for countless generations. The Nature Trust currently protects three islands in this archipelago. The first two were donated, while the third, Cape LaHave Island, was protected in partnership with the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg; together, their protection will ensure that they remain a place for everyone to enjoy, whether for picking wild blueberries, clamming, or stopping off in a kayak.
