The Nova Scotia Nature Trust is not a lobby, pressure or advocacy group. We are not political. We work quietly and effectively behind the scenes, with an approach grounded in science to preserve ecologically important lands in Nova Scotia. As such, the two biggest statements we can make are our success and the weight of our membership. By becoming a member of the Nature Trust you are making a statement that land conservation is important to you, and at the same time you're sustaining the work of land conservation in Nova Scotia with your membership fee.
By joining the Nature Trust you become a member of a community of individuals and organizations dedicated to the preservation of Nova Scotia's natural beauty and heritage. Your membership supports our growth as an organization, our land acquisitions, our land stewardship projects, our educational projects, and our conservation research. As a member of the Nova Scotia Nature Trust, you will receive:
- Natural Landscapes, the newsletter of the Nova Scotia Nature Trust containing the latest information on our activities, as well as topical articles on conservation issues in Nova Scotia
- the right to participate in, and vote at the Nature Trust's Annual General Meeting
- invitations to any exclusive Nature Trust events, guided walks, or socials
- the satisfaction of knowing that you are contributing directly and effectively to the preservation of Nova Scotia's natural heritage
