This 41 acres property on Molega Lake was protected in 2005, through a conservation easement with the landowner. The site offers a rich diversity of habitats, including mature hemlock stands, and climax forest dominated by white and red pine, yellow birch, and American beech. The site also hosts several members of a suite of plants called Atlantic coastal plain flora, including the nationally threatened Carolina redroot, as well as brookside alder, Virginia meadow beauty and buttonbush, along the extensive shoreline of this property.
