Details

These beautiful lands lie on the Meander River, very close to Smiley's Provincial Park. The property contains outstanding hardwood and mixed floodplain forest, and provincially uncommon plants and insects.

Gypsum outcrops occur sporadically on the site. Several small brooks, some only seasonally wet, pass through the property. The property lies within the Shubenacadie Rolling Hill natural landscape, which is poorly represented in provincial system of protected areas.
