Details
The Musquodoboit Harbour Conservation Lands, along Nova Scotia’s Eastern Shore, includes an outstanding coastal marsh ecosystem, over 1,250 feet of coastline in Musquodoboit Harbour, two small islands, and over 2,800 feet of shoreline on Narrows Lake.
The coastal area is an important stopover for Canada geese, black duck, green- and blue-winged teal, harlequin duck, and wading birds during their migration. The lands are an integral part of a designated Ramsar Wetland of international importance.
