Nature Trust Conservation Awards

The Nature Conservation Award was established in 2002 by the Nova Scotia Nature Trust to recognize outstanding individuals, organizations, or businesses that have demonstrated a dedication to conserving the province's natural heritage by:

We invite Nova Scotia Nature Trust members to nominate (17 Kb) a deserving candidate whose commitment to conservation meets the objectives of the Nature Conservation Award. The Nature Trust Board of Directors is responsible for reviewing nominations and selecting the successful recipient.

Objectives of the Award

  1. To document and recognize the private land conservation efforts of an individual, organization, or business in the province
  2. To draw public attention to the private land conservation efforts in the province
  3. To inspire other Nova Scotians to become involved in private land conservation
